Curation notes#

Identity VALIDATED by the library; its text has 145 unmapped glyphs. No coefficient is transcribed from it: optmat compares CoolProp’s ideal part with the paper’s, and takes the constants and the range below. Pages are pdf pages.

IDEAL GAS AND CONSTANTS (normal hydrogen): R = 8.314472 J/(mol K) (p. 5); the molar mass is not printed (CoolProp and Muzny et al. use 2.01588 g/mol). The ideal-gas part (Eq. 25, p. 11; Table 3, p. 9) is fitted to the values of Woolley (1948), Haar (1961), Kosloff (1974) and Le Roy (1990), with c_p0 uncertain by below 0.1 % (p. 11). Range 13.957-1000 K, 2000 MPa.

AGAINST COOLPROP 8.0.0 (reference key Leachman-JPCRD-2009): the same R and ideal part (computed 2026-09-30).

Recorded bibliographic identity status: VALIDATED. This concerns identification of the source; it does not establish the scientific correctness of its contents.
