Nothing extracted\: the refractive index appears only in figures \(measured deflection angles against photon energy near the resonances\) and in simulations that compute the complex index from the Lorentz\-Lorenz formula with tabulated oscillator strengths \(Methods, 'Simulations'\); the paper prints no refractivity values\. The anomalous dispersion near He 1s2p \(n \> 1 below, n \< 1 above resonance\) is shown qualitatively \(Fig\. 1\)\.
